>Is all murder wrong i.e. of animals too?
>Is murder wrong? Should we all be vegetarian? Should we be vegan? Should we be fruitarian? Where should we draw the line and why?

>”Before I write the question I must state that I am in no way an eco-nut. However, I was somewhat appalled this morning to see my girlfriends mum car parked outside the bakers in town (not 400metres from our house) as she was going to church (some 500 metres from our house). When I confronted my girlfriend about this she excused this action because:1) There is a substantial hill from church to our house (imagine if you will a gentile incline that only enhances the landscape rather than a Scottish mountain) – she believed that by using a car time would have been saved compared to walking2) She had been cooking lunch and was in a hurry3) She was wearing high heels4) She has short legs and it would therefore take more time for her to walk there and back than a person of more average height.(I dont want to complain too much because I would benefit later on from point number 2)However, it got me thinking. We are hearing nowadays about trying to use your car less and less to help the environment. What therefore in your opinion is too short a journey for which you should use a car? – If you save only seconds or minutes is this really worth it?Are their any exceptions to this?Do governments do enough to encourage people to use their cars less and promote the alternative modes of transport?”
>You seem to be either in favour or opposed. Which are you?
>It’s obvious that some people abuse the benefits system, and even worse, some people find that they would be better off not working and instead living off of benefits. What do you think about this? How can we solve this problem?
>Should we start driving on the right side of the road in the UK?
>Ashley wanted me to raise this point. Personally I have no idea what he’s on about…
>New job losses for a new day. What would you do to create more jobs if you were Gordon Brown?
>The UK has one of the most powerful economies in the world. Yet our homeless number in their thousands! Councils are now trying to force ‘rough sleepers’ (one very small section of homless people who sleep on the street rather than in hostels, squatting or other temporary accomodation) into homeless shelters. Some councils do this by hosing down places where these rough sleepers stay, preventing them from sleeping there.
Understandably this has provoked outrage. But what do you think? Do we need to treat our homeless better? Or did they bring it upon themselves?
>Are Britain’s Pensioners our most vulnerable citizens? I have been reading many articles recently about how people are struggling through the recession. Some say that Pensioners are hit hardest and struggling most to survive. But some Pensioners say that with the increases New Labour are giving in Pensions and benefits, they have never had it better.
So, are the aged the worst off? And should more be done to help them?
>How often have you heard someone say ‘It doesn’t really matter in the scheme of things’? Well what does matter to you? Does everything matter? Does only you enjoyment? Only your life? Perhaps your even of the view that nothing matters?
